To strengthen the current team at Zorglandgoed Bloemfonteijn in Heesselt, Uw ZorgCompaan is looking for enthusiastic and ambitious healthcare assistants. In the heart of the Betuwe region, something extraordinary is taking shape: a care estate founded by Monique and Rian Verwoert around their daughter Sherilyn, who has multiple disabilities. 

Since January 2015, the estate has provided a home where people with intellectual disabilities can live, “work” and enjoy life freely. Residents receive professional care 24 hours a day and have access to a six-hectare site offering various daytime activity opportunities. The care pavilion at Zorglandgoed Bloemfonteijn is fully adapted to people with intellectual or multiple disabilities, whether or not combined with complex care and support needs. 

As a Healthcare Assistant (IG), you will provide residents of Zorglandgoed Bloemfonteijn with support in personal care, guidance and nursing care. Zorglandgoed Bloemfonteijn is looking for dedicated employees who genuinely care about the people they support and who are motivated to take the quality of care to the next level. The position includes both technical nursing tasks and basic care activities. As a Healthcare Assistant (IG), you will also play a crucial role in identifying residents’ needs and monitoring changes in their health. 

Requirements

• You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, at least at B1 level.
• You can provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG); the cost will be reimbursed.
• You enjoy working with people with intellectual disabilities and demonstrate this in your work.
• You are legally permitted to work in the Netherlands.
• You are willing to work different shifts according to the schedule, including short and long shifts and, occasionally, night shifts.
• You have an MBO level 3 diploma in Healthcare Assistance (Verzorgende IG), an equivalent qualification, or a CIBG certificate.
• Relevant work experience and up-to-date practical knowledge are an advantage.
